Initial stages
About six months before work begins, you'll probably be dreaming up the perfect situation. Know that your budget will likely limit this, but this is the time when it's okay to think big. That way, when you do have to start breaking down the numbers, you'll recall which elements are most important to you. Start doing your research, do some searching, find inspiration; get an idea as to what you're looking for.
In the interim
Once you've got a plan in place, start asking around. Draw some basic outlines if possible. Talk to contractors and get written quotes. Work on your budget and get expert opinions to stay within the realms of possibility. Choose the bathroom contractor that not only gives a great rate, but that also gives you confidence that they'll see the job in the same way you do. After all, this is what we strive for at Bert Plumbing.
